
The conference will be held on April 4-5, 2024, in accordance with the work plan of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus for 2024 in Minsk.
The aim of the conference is to study contemporary issues in the diagnosis and antimicrobial therapy of community-acquired and nosocomial infections, familiarization with advanced microbiological research technologies for the diagnosis of infections of various localization, and determination of sensitivity to antimicrobial drugs according to modern standards.
The conference aims to enhance the knowledge of practicing physicians on the issue of infections caused by resistant pathogens, and to unite the efforts of various specialists in combating antibiotic resistance to improve the quality of medical care for patients with infections.
Presentations by leading experts from Belarus and neighboring countries will focus on the following issues:
- Epidemiology of nosocomial and community-acquired infections
- Therapy of infections caused by multidrug-resistant pathogens
- Infection control and strategies for preventing the spread of antibiotic resistance
- Review of modern treatment recommendations
- Perspectives on antimicrobial therapy and prevention of various infections
Physicians from the following specialties are invited to participate in the conference: anesthesiologists-reanimatologists, obstetricians-gynecologists, bacteriologists/microbiologists, general practitioners, infectious disease specialists, clinical pharmacologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, internists, surgeons, urologists, epidemiologists, and orthopedic traumatologists.
