On June 14, 2024 the Republican scientific-practical seminar with international participation "Possibilities of endoscopy in diagnostics and treatment of stomach diseases" organized by the State Institution "RCMC" and the Department of Surgery of the Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Healthcare Personnel of EE "BSMU" took place on the basis of the State Institution "RCMC".

Within the framework of the Seminar the topical issues of diagnostics and removal of epithelial neoplasms in the stomach were considered, new trends and modern approaches in gastric endoscopy as well as related to endoscopic issues of gastroenterology and pathomorphology in gastric diseases were discussed.

Presentations on topical issues of diagnostic and surgical gastric endoscopy were made by leading specialists in endoscopy of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, with presentations by leading gastroenterologists and pathomorphologists of the Republic of Belarus.

The workshop included a master class in a "live" format (broadcast from the operating room): Kirill Vyacheslavovich Shishin, Head of Endoscopy Department "Moscow Clinical Research and Practice Center named after A. S. Loginov DZM", Moscow, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor performed endoscopic dissection in the submucosal layer of a patient with non-epithelial gastric neoplasm.
