Dizziness is an unpleasant and relatively non-specific symptom of different diseases.
For accurate diagnostics in patients with dizziness we should make specific examinations such as tests of balancing and nystagmus, but not only an ordinary checkup of a neurologist.

Vestibulometry (videonystagmography) – is an up-to-date method of vestibular organs examination, which is based on the registration of eyeball movement with the use of a video camera while a patient makes some specific tests. This method is used to diagnose dizziness caused by the pathology of central nervous system and inner ear.

Stabilometry – a new and perspective method of diagnostics which makes it possible to analyze movement of the center of gravity regarding the center of support and examine stability of a patient in movement and standing up. This procedure is carried out with the usage of special equipment NeuroCom, which registers hesitations of patients body in relaxed condition and under pressure, and makes spatial and quantitative analysis of stability.

Computer stabilometry is successfully used:

  • In ataxia diagnostics (disorder of movement coordination) in patients with neurological, endocrine, cardiac pathology, diseases of ENT organs, psychogenic disorders
  • To provide stabilometric trainings before air flight or sea cruise to prevent symptoms of “seasickness”
  • In rehabilitation to make objective assessment and better management of rehabilitation process while recovering functions of balance, support, movement and coordination.

IHC is widely used for diagnosis of cancers; specific tumor antigens are expressed de novo or up-regulated in certain cancers.

IHC is used to show whether or not the cancer cells have HER2 receptors and/or hormone receptors on their surface. This information plays a critical role in treatment planning.

The VENTANA anti-p63 (4A4) antibody is directed against the p63 molecule, which is highly expressed in the nuclei of human prostatic basal cells and urothelial tissues. This powerful tool can aid the pathologist in the differential diagnosis ofprostate cancer in conjunction with morphological findings.

IHC also helps to treat female patients with idiopatic infertility.
